Who makes these products?

We have partnered with the biggest print-on-demand fulfilment company Printful.

They handle everything from the sourcing of the materials, the high quality printing and the shipping. As a worldwide operation, they can print the majority of the items on this store in your continent – this allows faster and cheaper shipping. They have major printing and fulfilment centers including in the US, Canada, Spain/Latvia (for EU), Australia and different locations in Asia. Please keep in mind that some products are not available from the closest location and this is why delays and shipping costs might be more than other products. French Today has carefully selected products that are fulfilled from many places around the world to minimize this issue.

What is print-on-demand fulfilment?

This means that there is no pre-printed stock of products anywhere. When you place your order, Printful will print the design onto your selected item right at that moment. It does take a bit more time but it means no warehouses full of stock sitting there. This also means that it’s more efficient because products can be printed from many locations and we can also offer a much wider selection of products to you.

How do I know my size?

For items that require sizing, there will be a Size chart link at the top of the product description with all the info about size. Please make sure you choose the correct size since we can’t change the order once it’s printed.

What payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express via the “Credit Card” button (the first option) and Paypal via the second option. If you select the Paypal option, you will be able to choose another option: debit/credit card and this will allow you to use a Discover or other lesser know cards via the Paypal processor. It’s also a good option to choose if for some reason, the first “Credit Card” option refuses your card (some banks will automatically block foreign transactions but because Paypal us huge, they usually have less problems with them)


How long does it take to ship?

This depends on the product and where it is shipped from. It can take on average between 2-4 weeks for the purchased items to reach your doorstep depending on where you are based. Most of the time, you’ll have a choice of different shipping options when you checkout from standard to expedited.

Can I get it in time for the holiday season?

This depends on the product and where it is shipped from. We’re launching the site with most products being produced in many different facilities around the world in order to have the fastest turnarounds possible. If you order before the 15, you should be fine for most orders (although keep in mind that delivery times are estimates, we know how crazy mail is around the holidays).

Will I have to pay import tax?

This depends on the product and where it is shipped from. At the moment, everything on the store is made, at minimum, in the EU and US so you will likely not have to pay import duties in these locations. In the UK, except for mugs and stickers that are made in the UK, you will probably have to pay import tax for the other products. For Asia and Australia/New Zealand, and other places in the world, we recommend you inquire if shipments from these varying locations are subject to import tax.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes, all shipping methods we offer are trackable. Once the item has been printed and shipped, you will receive an update on your order with a tracking number and link.

Why are my items shipped from different places at different times?

It’s the nature of made-to-order items! If you have several kinds of items in your order, they might not be all produced in the same facility and therefore each item will have it’s own preparation, shipment notice and tracking number. Your different items might also arrive at different times based on the location they are produced at. The estimated delivery time you receive at checkout will show you the latest item arrival if shipped from different locations.


What is the return policy on French Today merchandise?

Since these items are printed on-demand specifically for you, all sales are final. However defected items will be honored up to 14 days from when the product was received. Upon return, a replacement item will be sent. Here are the refund and returns policy details.

Can I send this as a gift to someone?

Absolutely. At checkout, you will be able to select a different shipping address than your billing. Unfortunately at this point, we do not have the capability to include a card or gift wrap sorry. Note also that since most items are shipped internationally, an invoice showing the cost of the item will be included in the box.

Store Account

At this point in time, the merch store is completely independent to the French Today audiobook store. This means that you will not be able to create nor save an account on this site. We are looking to improve this in the future so you can use your main French Today account.

Who is Claude?

Claude is French Today’s spirit animal (or Patronus if you are a HP fan). He was co-created by the extremely talented cartoonist Jeff Koterba and French Today.

Will you add more items/designs?

We want to launch small and focus on quality products. Based on demand and requests, we will add more items and different designs to the store in the future. If you have a specific thing you’d like to see, don’t hesitate to let us know!
